i finally went and check out this little whimsy store in my neighbourhood, talulah jones! so many cute stuff that i resist to buy... for now! :)

what caught my attention (besides their numerous shinzi katoh items) is the beautiful embroidered emma penguin  book cover! the amazing illustrator behind it is jillian tamaki, who embroidered these book covers by hand!  her works also include black beauty and  the secret garden. here are more astonishing penguin book covers that i would like to collect and read but for now....straight to my wishlist! ;) ;) ;)

first craft fair in denver!

some new items i made for the little webshop but sold out (already).. for now! more cute stuff coming, i promise! ;) these were made out of the felted eggs i were to use for the easter egg felting class! im glad i get to use them again! so happy how they all turned out!

hello denver!

hello friends, im back... to a different city! for those who dont know... three weeks ago, i relocated to denver from seattle (with my man due to his academic purposes)! i am currently unemployed which is a bit difficult financially, especially when it comes to buying craft supplies! hehehe! but on the brighter side, i got upcoming job interviews... fingers crossed, and there will be more crafting to be done and hopefully and finally sell all the cutie felt stuff online!

here is a glimpse (via instagram) of the neighborhood we live in, capitol hill! i love all these historic and nostalgic homes in the area! i will post more photos of our apartment as soon as everything is unpacked and settled!
