apron no.1

last fall i started working on aprons for joseph and vena! i finally get to go to the post office and send joseph's! he doesnt  live very far from me but i love to send stuff as a surprise! oh the joy of getting something special from the mailbox!!!  i finished it just in time for new year but i couldnt post it right away! although he knew he is getting an apron,  i still didnt want him to see what it was gonna look like! im hoping it fits him though, i used myself as the model! whoaaahahahaha! ;) 

lazy rainy sunday

finally... the much awaited days off!!! i definitely need a new pair of calves after walking to work during snowy time! i love love snow except i have to walk to work! it felt like walking on sand (except it is not!)! anyways, i got a good 9 hour of sleep but woke up feeling i need to procastinate... more! hehehe! spent time trying to finish a book i started reading about 4 months ago and obsessively watch U900 music videos! they are ukelele duo and they released an album with beatles magical mystery covers and an album with michael jackson covers! the music vids are performed by two amigurumi characters... sooooo adorable!!! here are sample videos!! enjoy!

funn stuff fromm pamm!

i was surprised to see a package mail from auntie pamm waiting at my door! oh how i love getting fun stuff from the mail... besides the usual catalogs and credit card offers (grrr...hate those!)! auntie pamm is my friend mattie's gorgeous aunt! she is super nice, fun and such a cool lady! i finally get to meet and hang out with her when i went to portland last november to see feist! and im hoping we could do more fun stuff together with mattie of course!

flashback 2011

hey'all! just want to share some of my favorite 'memories' of last year via my instagram pics!

last year in october i finally got tired of working two jobs after 8 years... thus i get more time to go to the craft store and craft fairs!

... thus i get to enjoy my favorite season, autumn!

i went to the puyallup fair and ate deep fried butter (for the first time!) with alon and maya!

i get to visit home for five weeks and be with my much-missed family and friends! it was so nice to have a break from the monotonous work life and experience the 'real' summer.. tropical style!

finally get to travel and went to japan to visit melanie and her family! one of my favorite part of the trip was at mt. fuji!

some little things...

i finally got rid of unwanted books, cds, movies, clothes and some of my knick knacks before 2011 ended! whew! thanks to vena who drove me to goodwill! thanks to friends who came by and picked up stuff from my goodwill boxes! :)

goodbye 2011, hello 20 dozen! 2011 was not that bad, i would say it was a great year because i get to go home last year and spent quality time with my family and friends! what an awesome break from seattle life!  plus i get to go japan and visit my friend melanie! i also finally quit my part time job last year and as a result i had a fair good amount of time to make handmade stuff for bdays and xmas presents! to anyone i missed.. better luck this year! hehehe ;)  ;)  ;)
