aaaawsome daiso finds!

daiso never fails me! window shopping is not possible for me when it comes to daiso! i go there and buy stuff .... stuffs ;) i dont really need but also somehow end up useful! these are my awesome finds on my recent trip there after watching secret world of arriety with stephie-poo!

DIY coaster kit! i dont need to make coasters but i like the fabric, i can use it for something else!  

kitty and piggy origami paper sheets! great for gift topper (instead of bows and ribbons!)

i thought my obsession with deco tapes is over... but couldnt pass on this lace ones!

i love doing dishes by hand of course! just how fun with this sponge in a costume!

hello monday!!!! what are you up to?
here is whats on my sewing table today... sleepy head pillow case! i love sleeping (besides sewing) especially when i dont have to go to work! and here i create a pillow case that depicts that persona of mine! hehehe!

the art and flair of mary blair

a couple weeks ago, i took my monthly field trip to the goodwill store (which luckily located 5 blocks from my apartment)   and i scored this amazing book,  the art and flair of mary blair and discovered another favorite illustrator of mine! how could i not heard of mary blair?! most of her work includes vintage disney books!  i guess because i did not grow up with disney and now i am slowly familiarizing myself with classic disney animations! i love her distinctive style with color, pattern and geometric shapes especially on these ones....
