octo momma

i finally finished the felted octopus a week ago! i had fun poking this thing despite accidentally poking my fingers with that hella sharp needle.. about 8 times! ouch 8 times!!!! i cancelled the felting class im about to take on the 30th and that saved me 40 USD for an hour of felting! hooray!!!!  i was pleased it came out alright but i will make better ones next time! 

i love my hood!

one of the best things in my neighborhood are all these cool small businesses and assemble gallery and studio! i pass by  it on my way to work and i cant help but admire the displays by the window!

urban craft uprising

it was a great day to end this very exhausting week! erock and i went to the huge summer craft fair at seattle center before going to work ( thank jesus, it was payday last friday!), so many amazing artists and crafters! my favorites are of course moxie (felt fiber queen) and tripper dungan (3D painter, musician)!

and so here are my best purchases 1. mini 3D octopus paintings (with a free chromadepth 3d glasses! yay!)   by tripper dungan 2. octopus needle felting kit by moxie and 3. a couple of $3 dollar kawaii remnant fabrics!

woke up feeling lousy even after a 10 hour sleep! but sunshine by my window is gonna make me feel better! happy wednesday everyone!

i was going through pictures from my trip to japan to upload to my updated flickr account  and  i remember this is cutest little home i have seen there! i was on my way to the train station going to narita airport! i wanted to knock and say.. can i please move in?  >o.0<

the fourth

since i do not have any bbq party plans for the fourth of july... i instead made some origami stuff and a fourth of july inspired  felt choco cake! im waiting for vena to come over for a haircut and to have some black bean burgers specially cooked on my frying pan! happy independence day america!
